>> Does anyone have experience in using bone for making tablets? Which part > of an animals skeleton would you prefer? How do you prepare bone to make > tablets? How do you get tablets (how do you saw them, what kind of saws > or similar di you use etc.). I also like slices of the long leg bones. As Nancy said USE a mask can be very very dangerous ! I like to sand mine down quite thin but it takes quite a while. I'm not that keen on the shoulder bone as it often has only a small bit you can use. Jaw bones are supposed to be good but we can't get them in the UK Mel Send private reply to "Melanie Wilson" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop receiving tabletweaving (not tabletweaving-digest), send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: unsubscribe tabletweaving.
