With that camera I think I would agree, but bear in mind it cost me a lot less to purchase than my 35mm & all its lenses did and it is much easier to carry around. > It appears that for normal photographic needs, a digital is right there with a 35 mm camera. I'm still not convinced about the extreme shots, however. You would need to compare it with a similar spec digital to be fair and those are still more pricy than a 35mm is, probable reason is that Camera manufacturers know that the 35mm has a limited lifespan now & most I guess are pushing for better digital image cameras (they are probably there too but too expensive for me ...yet !) PS my digital is already out of date. But now is a good time to buy an average to good digital I think, a few more years for the extreme cameras to drop in price though !
