Sponsored by TWIST - Tablet Weavers International Studies & Techniques

I've had several weavings suffer from the attentions of babies and toddlers,
but most weavings were able to be fixed eventually. And weaving materials
are pretty child-friendly (except for the scissors). On the upside, all 3
children now want to learn to weave. Might as well start them early!

If you've a small child who's really intent on playing with your weavings,
try giving her/him a set of their own strung cards so they can turn the
cards and put a thread through just like you. I've also found that making a
piece for one of my children will keep them all at a respectful distance
while I work on it.
