There are pros and cons to yahoo groups (mostly to do with privacy and copyright issues), but there actually already is a fairly active tablet-weaving list there: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SCA-Card-Weaving/ Once upon a time, this was the list for modern stuff, and that was the list for historic stuff, but it seems that over time that became the list for everything. Certainly there are many people who contribute who aren't in the SCA, and it has become a much more active list than this one. There's also a lot of cross-posting of important information. I'd kind of hate to see this list go away, but if going to only one list means that people are more active and aren't splitting their energies, it might be worth it. But how would I sign my name then? :) Sarah -- Sarah Goslee SCA: Phiala O'Ceallaigh http://www.stringpage.com Send private reply to Sarah Goslee <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ----------------------------------------------------------- To stop receiving tabletweaving (not tabletweaving-digest), send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: unsubscribe tabletweaving.
