I've never done through brocade; I mainly wanted to
introduce it because that's what most people seem to
assume I'm doing, and they're surprised to find they
can't see the "mess" on the back. 

I find that I can get up to 3 colors plus the ground
weft per line, and it does distort the graph a little
- I did some experimenting with four, and that was too
many.

Moth on the center band has three colors (4 shuttles
if you count the ground weft); stretched-out moth on
the left has 4 colors (5 shuttles).  The distortion of
the fifth shuttle is really evident here.
