In the case of railway infrastructure (tram lines) those are often mapped on their actual position (i.e. in a standard case of no oneway and the tram sharing space with the vehicles on the road, you still would have one way for each direction / rail), for example here: http://www.openstreetmap.org/node/1668685086#map=19/52.52616/13.38725 Cheers, Martin
