Surely "unsigned" means that the weights can only be positive.  Trucks with
negative weights are
not allowed.  Therefore the data schema can accommodate weights with an
unsigned int.

It also means that the sign, stating that only positive weights are
permitted, does not have a
signature.

What "unsigned" doesn't do is identify how the mapper came to any
conclusion about the weight
limit or how other mappers may verify it.
