Hello,
What does "xrandr -o inverted" executed in a terminal give
as a result?
screen right side up. Same result when going into system
settings/display/double clicking the display/middle icon/confirming
But how does one make that persistent or autoated at startup?
Grub is right side up, first lines of tails boot right side up, then the 3
squares right to left instead left to right, login upside down, etc. Inverting
screen and then as soon as desktop dissappears at shutdown/restart everything
upside down again.
Seems memory wipe is successful as no power button/reset needed.
It often has an itchy trackpad and from time to time erratic touchscreen inputs
when not touching the touchscreen.

can you send the output of
"lspci | grep Network"
give?
nothing, just another fresh empty terminal line
I have whisperback copied in a file, can I attach a TXT file or is it better to
send copy/paste in an email? And where to as not too keen to post public on the
list.

Can you open a terminal and execute:
"sudo tail -f /var/log/syslog" and then insert the SD card?
See what the log tells you ?
log file does not exist. not in regular terminal, sudo, or in root terminal.
Thanks.

Thanks for testing it out!
The upside-down issue seems to be very common on these machines, even
with Windows. What does "xrandr -o inverted" executed in a terminal give
as a result?

Cheers!
