Fairly simple in JOSM.. never used iD so cannot help there.
I can get JOSM to find all your nodes with landuse:farm and give you the
nodes id numbers. Might be able to do the same with overpass turbo...
Oh and I have found that DCS base and topo is sometimes dated with
station/farm names, so much so that I include a fixme to that effect
if I use it as single data source. That way I get to wander down
remote farm roads (re)checking on the mailbox signs!
I have found a few of them to be 'disused' or 'abandoned' going by the
state of the homestead.
