Hey Steve, My friend and I are having some success with the instructions on that page, i may add something to it that's a bit more of a step-by-step guide. We're both running Ubuntu, but most of the tools seem cross platform.
Having trouble figuring out the config for osm2shp, any tips? I can see the MB data in OpenJUMP, which is pretty impressive, it looks good! I don't see any names on these roads, do you know how i would tell if there are any or not? Thanks for all your help and hard work, you're really blazing a trail for the rest of us.
