Okaaay, mailing list digest doesn't even want to display Russian letters :)

So, the follow-up. As Vladimir has said just now, we'd prefer Tartu, because it is closer to Latvia and Russia, and I guess estonian OSM community has more connections there. It's too early to count participants (and V. even started nagging me on how many people fit into my car): first I'd like to know, whether there are active members in OSM EE, who can move this event forward. One person would be enough -- and right now the only one I assume is capable is Jaak :) Though I'd be glad to be proven wrong.

I also talked to Martin Vonwald from Austria (Imagic in OSM), who is organizing geocachers' meetup in Riga, and can visit Estonia in mid-July. So, we have four options for a date: 22nd and 29th of June, 6th or 13th of July (Martin is free on 13th, but it'd be strange to base the whole mini-conference around a schedule of a single man). As I have said in a previous message, I'd prefer an earlier date, but some of potential participants could have trouble getting visa on such early notice.

So. Three questions:

1) Do we make a small, mini-conference, or announce it in media and attract tens of participants (at the least; in Russia last November we accidentally gained hundreds)?
2) Can anyone arrange a hall for this conference?
3) On which date?

I hope this event would bring attention to estonian OSM community and would stimulate its growth, along with OSM awareness in Estonia and other Baltic states.
