I don't know it to be temporary. As I mentioned the signs are very much like the NCN ones in this area [1], and much of this route follows the proposed NCN 51 spur along the coast. I have since found a leaflet thanks to Google, but when I mapped it I mapped what is signposted on the ground. If it turns out I'm wrong about this route remaining long term then I'll delete it again.
