This sort of raises the more question of how do you tag anything which applies between two points on a way. For example every time I take the Little Clacton Bypass when I leave (or return to) Clacton I notice the warning signs with the deer on. In the UK I believe there is one at each end of the area where the warning applies (one for each direction). There are many such warnings we (well I) don't tag currently. Exceptions are things like level crossings, max heights and widths and so on, but I suspect at some point someone will want to map signed hazards in some way (if they aren't already somewhere).
