See below message on a changeset. User philipcullen has been bulk adding UPRNs to properties in East London (and possibly beyond). He has also added quite a few postcodes in 173286472 <https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/173286472>.
I had assumed that there was no valid source for this type of en mass building-by-building postcode import. Is the approach outlined in the changeset comment valid? The OS data allows a UPRN to be found in areas with well aligned buildings, and the ONS data then provides a postcode for these. Both are licensed under the Open Government Licence (OGL).
