Here is some VB code I converted from a macro. Runs great, but the Outlook
security settings are not allowing me to automatically send the report.

Option Compare Database
Function zmacDialysis_Mail_TEST()
On Error GoTo zmacDialysis_Mail_TEST_Err
    If (DCount(1, "qryDialysis") > 0) Then
        DoCmd.SendObject acReport, "rptDialysis", "PDFFormat(*.pdf)", "email
address(s)", "", "", "DACR - Dialysis", "Here are the daily ancillary charges
for the Effective Date. Please review and verify these charges. Then
sign/date the Reconciliation Form and return.", False, ""
    End If
zmacDialysis_Mail_TEST_Exit:
    Exit Function
zmacDialysis_Mail_TEST_Err:
    MsgBox Error$
    Resume zmacDialysis_Mail_TEST_Exit
End Function

Subject: [talkbws] RE: Running an Access report

Greetings,
So what's the going rate for my magic these days :)

Would need a bit more info on what's needed here.
I take it these are prebuilt <things> in an Access file? That can be executed,
creates an output and the outputs get emailed?
I don't do a lot with Access - but if you can give me the "official Access
name" for whatever it is you need run, that'd help.

Regards,
Thom

Yep, that is exactly what I need to do... with about 70 different employees.
Work your magic THOM?

Great question.
I would also like to automate sending reports from access via email via Boston
Workstation (without the security warnings).
Some code or hints on how to work around that would be a tremendous help in
streamlining some of our reports.

Is it possible to program BWS to log into access and run certain reports from a
selection menu?
