Greetings, This is the story from Microsoft on all this outlook stuff.
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb226709.aspx What I have set in the Trust center is - Warn me about suspicious activity (a chunk of code that sends email programmatically in our case) if the Antivirus is not up to date. My script that calls outlook to send emails works without a dialog. I run Norton Internet Suite as my antivirus. I changed it to Always warn me - and I got the "dialog" when I run my emailing script- however it wouldn't even let me send the message. Of course, the lawyer in me must say that if you monkey with trust settings and something bad happens - I am not responsible J Regards, Thom Thom C. He said something about Office 2007 allowing him to do this, but 2003 didn't. We have Office 2007 now, but I still have the security warning. Maybe it has to do with our Exchange Email server settings. OK, so all you IT guys/gals. Is there a way to change the email security settings for just one PC (on the PC or server side), or does the security effect all PC's on that exchange server? I would also like to automate sending reports from access via email via Boston Workstation (without the security warnings). Some code or hints on how to work around that would be a tremendous help in streamlining some of our reports.
