The 4.41E+09 value means the field is a number and it can't display the
complete number in the space. The ### value means the field is either
general or text and the column isn't wide enough to display the complete
value. If you will autosize your columns, at least the #### value will
display correctly. If you change the 4.41E+09 to text, and autosize, it
may display correctly also. I would think there is a way to do that
programmatically using the Datastation.

[talkbws] Working with CSV files

I?ve noticed that CSV files, when opened, will modify the displayed value
to a more simplified value. For example 4409354237 will display as
4.41E+09 and 05/02/1999 will display as 5/2/1999. Occasionally long values
will display as ########. When using Datastation it uses the displayed
value instead of the raw value. I thought that putting quotes around each
value in the file would force it to treat everything as text but no luck.
I can do a workaround but I am hopeful that there is an Excel setting that
I can use instead.
