Yes, we currently use a number of VM server instances to run our scripts. We have a service account that has the appropriate permissions that stays logged into the instances. We use the vSphere Client to access the VM servers (rather than remote desktop), which allow anyone to access them/view the instances. This setup has worked very well for us.
