I have been using NetSupport Manager for years to manage all of my machines in our lab (approx. 80) and have never had any issues with lag (even across VPN).

Hi everyone, I've been using BWS for 6+ years and I have 8 boxes. I recently migrated to Server 2008 (64 bit) machines and have been using Tight VNC to remote into each box. I've noticed the remote connection is now lagging and over the past month some scripts just don't run anymore. Scripts that should take 20 mins to run are now showing as 7 seconds in the log file and they aren't hitting the error routine. Anyone else have any issues on Server 2008 or can suggest another "remote" software to use?
