Window-eyes and Dragon Naturally Speaking work well together, as I explained in an earlier message. What exactly is not working for those of you who have expressed concerns on this list? Some of us use it well. Perhaps we can help out. My experience is of using Dragon naturally Speaking non-professional version 11.5 Windows 7 and Window-eyes 8.4 You certainly do have to figure out a way of initially reading in passages. I believe the training materials come with text files of the passages which ought to make reading them relatively simple with a good pair of headphones. Put the text file into wordpad, Tab to it and begin reading once you have configured Dragon for a screen reader and started the process whereby Dragon learns. Really, I've used Dragon for over 5 years. So, people on this list may very well be able to help you folks out.

anyone prefer you go to jaws?

Just wondering

This is something that AI squared should really think about adding to
window-eyes. Not only do you have to have JAWS, but you also have to have a
program called j-say, wich costs a hole lot of money to get, and that is
ontop of JAWS.

hi, let me tell you whats up!
1, I can do any keybord commands needed to run my computer! so I don't
need voice input to control the computer. that is why I don't need
Dragon Naturally speaking pro.

2, I have disslexeya! so I am a bad speller! so bad that the spell
checkers in programs like word, outlook, and thunderbird, don't know
what I am trying to spell!
3, new to Window-Eyes, so I do not know how to write, make, or use aps!
4, Window-Eyes tec subport said that I should go to jaws if I wanted to
useDragon Naturally speaking! but I am trying to get away from jaws!
5, so I need to use Dragon Naturally speaking home addision.
6, when traning Dragon, I need an ap with a hot key that will start
looking from the top of the screen down for print of 1 color with the
back ground of an nother color, like plack on light-blue. then it would
read the next 3 to 5 words. to tell me what to read.
7, when dictateing, I need a ap that will read what I am dictateing back
to me, a santence at a time.
