Hi Bud, You are describing something about which I've been complaining ever since Window-Eyes 9.0 was released, and I doubt whether it can be fixed without a considerable redesign. This version is extremely sensitive to highlighted regions of the screen, and tends to pull focus away from what is currently being focused. Sigh
