Chris,
I assume that the notification you're seeing specifically says that IE
Enhance is out of date? If so, here's what I'd do.
1. Open the Window-Eyes control panel and uninstall IE Enhance.
2. While still within the control panel hit Alt-F File followed by E
Explore profile folder.
3. Press the letter I and arrow down. Delete any of the IEEnhance files
remaining, especially .exe, .vbs, and .ini. Then close the folder and
the Window-Eyes control panel. I'd close all other programs as well.
4. From the desktop press Windows-R for the Run dialog, or, access it
via the start menu.
5. Type %wineyes% and press Enter. Note the percent signs bracketing
wineyes. This will open the Window-Eyes program folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\GW Micro\Window-Eyes
6. Press the letter I until you land on IEEnhance.wepm. Press Enter to
reinstall the IE Enhance app.
Hth,
Tom
