All windows apps will be compatible  with windows 10 pro. Windows mobile
will only run universal  apps witch these apps will be. So in other words if
you have 
A pc you will be able to run all the desktop apps you do now and the new
universal  apps and as I said this is a bridge for universal  apps.

I'm certainly no expert on this, but being a programmer, it sounds to me
like the only difference is that now app developers will be able to develop
apps from Windows which will run on Windows phone and iOS and other mobile
devices. I doubt it has anything to do with it being compatible with, say
Windows 8 or 10. Maybe I'm wrong though.
