When I have read the email, I press alt-f4. However, sometimes, I am unable to close the window, and instead, I hear the Microsoft warning sound.
turn off the reading pane if it is being used.
if not you do not close a message with alt f4 you use escape
if you are useing i map there are times when wlm will tell you there was a problem downloading the message. you click on ok to close the message, close the message and try opening it again. The other issue I have is sometimes, when composing an email, Window-eyes does not read back to me anything I have written. I would arrow up and down and left and right, and donbt hear anything. If I backspace, I also wouldnbt hear anything. These problems only occur sometimes. I am at this time you can only read your composed message with browse mode turned off. then it will read the text. but read to end will not work. all you will get when browse mode is turned on is invalid key press. i squared says these problems will be worked out later with a w e patch.
