No No Jim - You were a help indeed. I just didn't know where to look for the items. I now have the setup with the mouse voice turned off and the Track Mouse With Cursor turned off. If I sounded a little gruff I have been slogging through these problems since about 1:00 A.M. this morning so 4 or 5 hours of trying to figure something out or narrow the problem to where someone else could come up with an idea like your turn off the mouse voice suggestion. So far, too early to say for sure, I have had no phantom speech nor Internet Explorer or Outlook problems all be it I have not done much in them yet. Later and again, thanks for the suggestion to try out. That is what this thread has been all about - getting ideas from a narrower problem and symptom definition. Rick USA It is too early to say but so far I have not heard any phantom messages since turning off the mouse voice setting - fingers crossed.

I will keep on trying to brake my pc for you to see if I can make it do it. I am sorry I have not been of more help to you. -----Original Message----- From: Talk [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Rick Thomas via Talk Sent: Friday, May 15, 2015 2:27 AM To: 'Window-Eyes Discussion List' Subject: Final Phantom Message for some time Hi: I ReBooted the computer so can not continue the testing. I hope the past 4 hours of slogging through WindowEyes and Windows 8.1 problems have helped some. If I get any more symptoms I can identify I will post up otherwise this is all I have for now. I will see what my Track Mouse With Focus setting is set to if I can find it wherever it is located - Jim didn't mention if that is a Internet Explorer setting, a Windows 8.1 setting or a WindowEyes setting he was talking about if I remember correctly. But, since the phantom speech is not where focus is suppose to be and the phantom word is under the mouse it is likely the mouse is not tracking with focus anyway.
