I had this problem with MS Word 2010, and it miraculously disappeared. I
don't know why it started, and I don't know how it stopped. There is an
option in the Mailings tab called "Add To Document." I haven't tried it, but
it sounds like a good thing to try. If the problem crops up again, I'll try
it.

Subject: Re: Problems with Envelope/Label Edit Fields in mailings tab of
word2013
Ray,
I got stung on this one a while back and was told this is a Microsoft bug
that they will fix with the next major
release, whatever that means. This appeared to be a problem with all screen
readers as far as I was able to
determine. While I don't do envelopes much any more, the principle of this
one bothers me. We're twenty years
into accessibility and there are still problems making text accessible?
This also seems to affect the signatures
in Outlook 2013 as well.
Besides typing carefully, there are two ways you can check this. You can
select the address you want to print
from, for example, the inside address of a letter and it will be put into
the envelope address field. Also, there
is an option to include the envelope within the document. I don't remember
what that option is called, but by
doing that you can look at it after the fact to see if it looks right. I
haven't tried it, but I think all of the
envelope parameters get stored in the document as well, so one could
probably even make changes and then print the
envelope by printing the current page. I know that used to work but have
not tried it with 2013.
Best regards,
Steve Jacobson

Hi All:
I'm running Word 2013 on my machine with Window-Eyes 9.1. When I want to
print an envelope or address labels in the mailings tab, WE says the boxes
for entering in address information are 'Rich Edit', however, I can't use
the arrow keys to go back over what I've entered into these boxes. I have
to type very carefully and hope I don't make any mistakes.
I tried re-detecting the cursor using ctrl+insert+c, and WE says 'No cursor
detected. I tried re-classing the control with insert+r, and the re-class
dialog doesn't come up. My set files are up to date. Anyone have any
suggestions of what else I can do?
Thanks,
