Well replay media catcher works better for rechording files from youtube as it downloads themn directly. Also ytd video downloader works well for this. As for ripping cds I use winamp it works a treat. The only time I use goldwave is when I want to rip a whole bunch of tracks as one file. This is useful when ripping audio book cds. Then you use the wave file format to rip to then you can cue the files and finely convert to mp3 without going threw second and 3rd generation convertions. Note all the program above work reasonably well with window-eyes.
