I don't know of any paid jobs, but certainly in the UK, there is a company, I think called concept systems, that hire blind/visually impaired volunteers with a reasonable incentive, for just this sort of web accessibility testing.

The Key thing I read in this article, was that Aria is to give more Access to those using Screen Readers, or Magnifiers. I wonder if places like Ebay and Amazon, and others, are doing any hiring of people who actually use Screen Readers, or Screen magnifiers? As we all know, Access is great, but too much Access is as bad as not having enough. When applying for jobs, the Employer always wants the person applying to know specifically what job they are applying. anyone know the name of such a job, where someone tests Web Pages for Realistic Accessibility? I would think it would require someone with some sight, as how else would someone limited to only using a Screen Reader know when something was not getting picked up and read by the Screen Reader? However, if anyone knows the job title of such a job, would you share it?
