Please provide a Ebay link for a product so I can test with 3 different
screen readers. JAWS is not showing this behavior. Maybe offer a ARIA on /
off feature?

The web site is telling the screen reader what to say, so the screen reader
is saying it.

ebay changed there main page with a big flash advertisement. but i wonder
this extra speech started because i told you tube to use the html5 player
instead of the adobe flash player. i don't know if this would make any
difference.
it also speaks how many results it fines before i even press enter on the
search box. even though i have firefox set to not show search suggestions in
the options menu.

Hi Net Bat i usually have no problems with ebay.
And now this week after i sign in We just keeps saying over and over about
so many hours and days I can tab around but when WE will not stop yapping
about days and hours \i do not know what link i am selecting.
My Wife can see and she said the screen looked okay so she just clicked ebay
on with the mouse and We behaved its self after that until i sign in again.
And this is happening to my laptop and brand new desktop both running win
8.1
So it sounds like the curser may be on some part of the screen witch may be
my problem.

the latest WE does seem to have a lot of issues with ebay lately, I have
said about a couple of them here myself, and really hope the next update
will properly fix them, as at the moment, my NVDA, which was supposed to
only be a backup for those times that WE decided not to talk to me, is
proving better at working with ebay than WE, which is a shame!
