Hi Louis,

Since you've turned it off, do you find you're no longer getting the clanger
in Outlook?

Thanks,

Rod

I do see its value in I.E., now that I'm using Win-Eyes 9.0, but why do I
hear it in Outlook, when I open many of the email messages. Strangely it's
not heard in every opening of a message, but very frequently, and I don't
understand what I'm supposed to glean from that. And it is definitely an
attention getter!

I have to admit the first time I read the subject line, i was a tad
confused. Clanger? I know what was meant by it though, I guess to me
it sounds like a doorbell, bing bong! Either way I'm sure it ca n be
disabled.
