Hi: Are you sure thatit was Narrator that came up? I am guessing that what you heard was another Window-eyes voice, probably Microsoft Anna. What happens when the UAC comes up, it uses your login profile, meaning that it uses the voice that you hear when you first log in. In my case, that is Microsoft Anna, the same voice that Narrator uses, at least in the Windows 7 operating system. Kevin Huber
