This problem exist for a while. I would say, when I am using Outlook 2007 as well. Not sure if that apply for other older version. Even right now, as I test this now, its still not reliable enough to make sure I wrote to the right person. That's the auto complete function of Outlook. If I would delete all the nickname part and wait for Outlook to populate and let me select on the dialog, that's the whole different thing. I sent email wrongly a few times to the wrong person a few time if you ask me.
