I believe you have said that you had the same problem I had with Windows
10 and a progressive lag time while in file explorer. Trying to figure
this whole thing out. Doug at Aisquared now says he knows of three
users with this issue.
Do you have Open book installed on your computer? Do you have a
Synaptics touch pad? What Graphics card do you have?
In my case I have Open Book installed and have a Synaptics touch pad
that also had issues when I had Windows 10 installed. I have a external
mouse plugged in and have it set to disable the touch pad when it is
plugged in. When I had Windows 10 installed this setting would not
stick so the touch pad was enabled on each restart of the computer. I
have Intel HD 4600 on board graphics.
I am considering taking Doug up on his offer of sending him my laptop to
try to figure out the problem. I sent GW my desktop in the past when I
had WE issues that they claimed were computer issues and not WE issues.
Turned out it was a WE issue and they got it working.
