Hi Manny: That is interesting. When a program runs in parallel mode it is suppose to have resources shared among all the cpu processes via something like time slicing depending on the priority of the program when it was started I think. My initial thought might be that if the chess game sets the priority really high it may be grabbing so much cpu time that it is impacting other computer operations including WindowEyes but that is the most wild of guessess. A dedicated processor might get rid of that problem as you mentioned. Were you able to have WindowEyes run on a single dedicated processor and were you able to verify which one or, at least, which thread or something? Rick USA
