I have experienced the same issues using both JAWS and WE so at least in
some instances, it does not appear to be a screen reader issue. Perhaps
it could be settings in IE that need to be changed, or just the way that
the page is coded. I do know that sometimes changing from IE to Firefox
seems to fix some of these issues, i. e. making links work, and opening
edit boxes and combo boxes.

Hi,

I'm running WE 9.2 and Windows 7 HP 64-bit on a 6-year old Acer laptop
with only 2 Gigs of ram. It has a ATI Radian HD3200 graphics and
Realtech HD sound card built-in and I'm not experiencing the constant
crashes that others are reporting. My biggest complaaint about I.E. 11
is encountering links that can't be opened, buttons that can't be
clicked, combo boxes that can't be activated and so on. I am
particularly disappointed that the Walmart.com web site is almost
impossible to use any more. In the past, I've ordered from Walmart.com
every 6 to 8 weeks. The orders consisted of non-perishible food,
household items and personal products at very competitive prices. I was
unable to complete a questionaire on line in preparation for a doctor's
appointment because links wouldn't open and edit boxes wouldn't accept
text. These type of issues directly affect my ability to function
independently as a blind person. I know that a screenreader can't
overcome a poorly designed web site but I can empathize with those that
feel that accessibility in general is not as good as it should be
nowadays.

I will continue to use WE and hope that future releases will address
some of these issues.

Respectively,

Dan
