Hi Netbat: In order to find out if the scripts cause the problem, go to the control panel, press alt-a to go to the Script menu, press the right arrow key to open the App Management pulldown menu, press the right arrow to go to App Status and turn the App Status off.
Then see if the problem occurs, then if not, install one app at a time, testing as you go along, then you can figure out the culprit.
