Dave

At risk of being chastised by the moderators, I couldn't restrain myself
from replying to his - but only once, I promise.

If a company which started out, driven by some notion of public good as
its guiding principle, with profit as a means of meeting its overheads
and paying its staff properly, is then taken over by some private equity
group, then profit takes over the driving seat, and any notion of public
good goes straight out the window.
