Hi, Folks. I tried upgrading to Windows 10 from Windows 7 on a Dell Precision 1700 with 8GB RAM. While I got to Narrator, I couldn't get the Window-Eyes CD or DVD to start. When I tried to run Window-Eyes at the desktop, the sound card got stuck and I had to shut the machine off.

When I restarted the computer, I got the Windows 7 sound, the Window-Eyes sound, and nothing happened. With sighted help, I was able to restore the previous build, and now it's working. Is there something I'm missing? Why won't the CD spin up when I insert it? Is there something else I need to do? As far as I'm concerned, this whole Windows 10 upgrade's a bust.--Matthew Chao
