thing is Becky! mail was working fine with window-eyes 9.2, 
read-to-end, but not in window-eyes 9.3.
I've changed those options mentioned in the quoted messages long ago, 
and bought the client, only to find that now I cannot read messages 
in it with read-to-end at all.
