I do not have any issues using iTunes or Amazon since they are separate
apps.

It's interesting that iCloud may be a culprit. However, if you do that, how 
can you work with ITunes, Amazon, etc.? Or, do each of their apps work 
without iCloud, itself?

yes, John. It's also a good idea to open IE, Alt-T Tools, manage
add-ons, and disable anything you don't absolutely need.
