Hi: There is a program that is very accessible called GWX Control Panel.
It will help you get rid of the Get Windows 10 app and help keep it off as well. I have it on my wife's Windows 8.1 laptop so she doesn't get bothered by the Windows 10 update and it has worked very well. Check it out at http://ultimateoutsider.com/downloads/ Hope this helps. -----Original Message----- From: Talk [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Pastor Gil Pries via Talk Sent: Wednesday, February 24, 2016 9:05 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Update Warning Hi, The update, KB3035583, came back in my update list after I hid it 2 dtimes. This is the third time I have hidden it. It put the Get Windows 10 icon in my systray. Once I uninstalled it the icon is gone again. Thought you all would like to know.
