Hi:

I wouldn't disable critical updates, just get GWX Control Panel from

http://ultimateoutsider.com/downloads/

and it should take care of the Get Windows 10 app.

go into windows update and turn off the option to automatically install
important updates with the critical updates.
i found the patch too but it did not install so i was able to re hide it
again.
so far i have had no need for any of the optional updates.
i wish microsoft would use descriptions instead of hideing behind
meaningless numbers for there updates.
***
you may hide the update. but the gwx program that downloads the patch is
still there in the system32 folder.
and the windows 10 setup files are already on your computer in a hidden
folder waiting to be installed.
bt_windows
try the gwx control program to delete all of this.
you can re run it as needed to check that the gwx program has not installed
again.

Subject: Update Warning

Hi,
The update, KB3035583, came back in my update list after I hid it 2 dtimes.
This is the third time I have hidden it.
It put the Get Windows 10 icon in my systray.
Once I uninstalled it the icon is gone again.
Thought you all would like to know.

Pastor Gil
