Good morning to you too Don,
I am one of those who was at first puzzled as to why such a function was
even necessary until I found it to be a real asset when reading
Bookshare DAISY books with Internet Explorer. The problem there is that
these books don't present the separation between sections, chapters and
parts in a way that is all that obvious while in the process of
reading, unless you are closely listening for it. With the F8 method,
you can lock the beginning of your selection in place while moving to
the next header and pressing the f8 key again in order to end the
selection in that desired spot, where you can copy the selected text for
pasting into a Word or NopePad document for reading. When using the shift
arrow method, you can easily get lost in the text you are trying to work
with, not to mention completely lose your selection by mistakenly
pressing the wrong key combination, and that can get real frustrating
real fast. I use this handy method nearly every day when reading books
of all kinds.
Long live the f8 feature <smile>.

Morning all:
Ok, like others, I hate this new way of copying and pasting.
So, some questions
1. Does copy and paste work the same way in word and emails and in
note pad?
Next, what I tried sure did not work by function 8 to select and f8 to end
Please, what do I do to make it work
Thanks
Don
