Clarification. I'd like to have my cake and eat it too with both
selection methods.

Personally, I wouldn't want F8 to be ditched for the old way. At times
it's very handy. But for me it's annoying when I'm bouncing around
between standard windows and those which use browse mode because I have
to stop and think for that fraction of a second about which selection
method to use depending on where I am.
And if you don't like F8, it's a hot key. So you can define it to an
easier key or combination. I use Alt-semicolon to make it more efficient
by keeping my hands in the natural position on the keyboard.

Explain how the old way is better. The old way you have to press two
keys instead of one (granted you don't have to press any sort of f-8 but
that is outweighed by the ease of using the arrow keys or page down or).

Bring back the old way please.

Subject: copy and paste
Morning all:
Ok, like others, I hate this new way of copying and pasting.
So, some questions
1. Does copy and paste work the same way in word and emails
and in
note pad?
Next, what I tried sure did not work by function 8 to select and f8 to
end
Please, what do I do to make it work
Thanks
Don
