My guess is that as soon as the announcement goes out, all gazillion
thousand users try to go get the update at the same time, and the AI Squared
servers beg for mercy. So, like everyone else, they probably have tricks to
management to rollout to try and avoid some of this.
I know my TiVo and my IOS on the Iphone and my Nest thermostats all have
some rollout schedule in place so that all users don't get updated at the
same instant.
