Hi Vic,

Further to Steve's reply, really, any flash in the notification area can
steal focus.

Hth,

Subject: Window-Eyes and MS Word Documents

Good day

Often when going through a Word 2016 document I hear Window-Eyes say
"window". When that happens I cannot read the text with the arrow keys. I
know it is still there, because I can use the mouse pointer to read what's
on the screen.

My work-around is to press the alt key to call up the ribbon. Then when I
press escape I can continue reading or editing my document until I hear WE
say "window" again.
