Actually this is happening in Office 2016 with DropBox folders as well as in folders on my hard drive not connected to anything. I don't sign into One Drive.
It also happens at work with Office 2010, but the documents are stored on a Windows Server which has the same characteristics and delays as DropBox. -----Original Message----- From: Steve Jacobson [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: 5-Apr-16 09:33 PM To: 'Vic Pereira' <[email protected]>; 'Window-Eyes Discussion List' <[email protected]> Subject: RE: Window-Eyes and MS Word Documents Is there any chance this is happening in a dropbox folder? If so, turn off "badges" in the dropbox preferences. When that happens I cannot read the text with the arrow keys. I know it is still there, because I can use the mouse pointer to read what's on the screen. My work-around is to press the alt key to call up the ribbon. Then when I press escape I can continue reading or editing my document until I hear WE say "window" again. _______________________________________________ Any views or opinions presented in this email are solely those of the author and do not necessarily represent those of Ai Squared.
