I have found the same thing. I will continue to use IE as my default browser until something better comes a llong. Yes, I also have Chrome and Fire Fox but they still don't really meet my needs either. I will continue to check back with edge from time to time to see if and or how much it has improved. The only browser in which the mouse keys work is still Internet Explorer and that's why that browser is still my default browser.
