Hmm, Wonder how I managed to overlook that option. Even more, I wonder
if it was even available way back in XP. It will sure be quite handy in
the future I'm sure.

And how to place a shortcut such as Internet Exploer on the desktop. This
doesn't seem to work the way it did with windows 7?

mark,I think allot of us need more than listening to a tutorial on the
start menu and desktop. Personally I'd like to know how I can set my system
up so I have window eyes working flawlessly. 90 percent of the time I get a
ding when trying to review the screen with the mouse pointer. I've been
using wineyes for nearly 20 years going back to windows3.1 through Vista and
this windows ten has me baffled. Also, ribbons suck! Auto play and sounds
setup is totally different than previous versions of windows.

This topic was raised on the list a while back. I searched the archives and
found this suggestion from Tom Kingston: "Here's a link to Cathy Anne
Murtha's YouTube page. She has videos on the start menu and the desktop.
https://www.youtube.com/user/CathyAnneMurtha"
And, here is a link to the Blind Training website where you can learn about
the Immersion into Windows 10 with Window-Eyes textbook she created:
http://www.blind.training/ati-textbooks/windows-textbooks-2/an-immersion-int
o-windows-10-with-window-eyes/.
It's not free, but sometimes, you get what you pay for.
HTH,
Marc
