Hi Dan, To be honest, and hoping not to disappoint you, a duo-core CPU and only three gigs of RAM are quite low system specs, especially running the latest version of Window-Eyes. Perhaps avoiding using any other software and waiting for the updates to install might help. Indeed, even running Narrator rather than Window-Eyes might improve speed, at least until the updates are done. Perhaps I'm grasping at straws, but you never know. smile
